I totally agree with what you have said as this what we do though our involvement with sport and with the kids, especialy as many of the boys I coach don't have strong male role models in their lives so I try to step into that breach to a small degree and I believe that this is truly Gods work as these children seem to benefit from it and thats the motivation for me.

Prayer is so easy when in His prescense and the angels seem to surround me. But why can't this be our daily walk? Well, for one thing, I have noticed that I don't want to leave His prescence. I don't want to go into the world. I don't want to do anything except get closer. Like just go to Heaven. It is so good - yet too good. So how can we pray? Well I prefer to pray to Him and sit at His feet. But I think He wants me to pray for others and walk in the world. My heart belongs to Him, but He has work for us to do.

At my work God has been pushing me to get out of my office and go to the kiosk. As a loner and teetering on agoraphobia, it takes courage for me to leave my quiet desk. My workplace is unusual, yet it is my calling. I work at Graylands Hospital. I analyse data - about mental illness and hospital care. So I am surrounded with patients and workers in mental illness. When I go to the small kiosk, I see and meet the lonely and afraid and shy and sick. Why they are sick I don't know. But I have some of these conditions myself - so I understand.

In prayer many times God has asked me to eat my lunch down there - in the open - and talk to people. He also asked me to start teaching/preaching in the little chapel there. All of this is way too hard. Why can't I just soak up His anointing and be in Him?

How many times has He asked you to do something odd? We have talents we are meant to use, yet I just want to hide away. I had to speak to a roomful of Senior Mental Health Nurses. It was hard to committ to do this, yet easy when the time came to do it.

Prayer. In the night when He calls. In the morning when I wake. I find both difficult. Just like fasting, prayer is hard to do - especially if there is no anointing.
But we do have His promise. "If you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me."

<strong> Jer 29:12-13 <strong>
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

I like it Stu - been praying a lot for my business lately! Not in the same vein you mention but you made me think that maybe I should pray differently in that regard. Might do some experimenting
